Thanksgiving Recipes 2016

Thanksgiving is only a few days away and your friends and family have asked you to bring a dish. They will have the turkey and pie prepared, but ask you to bring a side dish. Great Plains Communications wants to share a few of our favorite side dish and accompaniments from our cable channel, Food Network.

This is a great substitution for the traditional potato or macaroni salad. The herbs, tomatoes and lemon dressing keep this dish light, while not over powering your main protein.

If you need a quick dessert that is sure to be a crowd pleaser, consider making Trisha Yearwood’s Easy Georgia Peach Cobbler. As she states in the video, you can use fresh peaches, but by using the can you get the sweetness from not only the peaches themselves but the juices as well.

Spring is finally here and Easter weekend is quickly approaching. Have the eggs all been dyed and the Easter baskets assembled? Are you making the traditional ham this year or looking for a recipe to mix things up? With the help from our cable channel, Food Network, Great Plains Communications has included some recipes to keep in mind as you are creating your delicious Easter menu.
